Einstein Poem

Here is a poem that Kaycee, Gloria and I made. We had to make something creative and to explain what Einstein once said. I guess you can say, we made his his quotes easier to understand. Hope you like your poem.

How weird are us humans
For we don’t know the reason of life
Although I think I have a hunch
We might just be a bunch
of people here to please each other
Making us feel happy just like daughter and mother
For life is not long
We shall live it not right nor wrong
The things you do, affect me inside
Not to mention also the outside
Although they are unknown
Destiny binds us together for we have grown
by the ties of sympathy.
The ideals that have lighted my way
“And time after time given me new courage” I say
To face life cheerfully and focus on the good things
Like Kindness, beauty and truth
Which can value more than a million rings.
BY TYLA-MARIE, KAYCEE AND GLORIA
Here is Einstein's original quote:

How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people -- first of all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness is wholly dependent, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose destinies we are bound by the ties of sympathy. A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving...

The ideals that have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth.

  1. Neat poem! You must have worked hard on it. I must say though, I don't understand Einstein's version. But anyway, keep it up!
