Going to The Blues Game

Waiting upon the motorway all dressed in blue, my Aunty , brother and I just couldn’t wait to get to the Blues game. While my dad was driving, my favourite song came on. Singing along, my dad announced “we’re here”. “Yay” ,we shouted.

Checking our tickets, the lady standing there goes, “Are you Amiria’s brother ?” to my dad. All of a sudden my Aunty walks in. “Come on kids, we’re going up now” she said to us.

Making our way to our seats, my dad was kind of annoyed because we were sitting in the same seats again. Watching the big screen, my dad gave us hot chocolates and wedges.

Finally the game had started. Waiting for someone to get tackled, it felt like I was getting sweaty just by watching the game. This would have to be the only RUGBY game that I’m really into.

As the Blues got closer to the try line, I desperately needed to go toilet. Running to the toilet, I tried not to miss too much of the action. As I walked through the doors, right in front of me was a tv. Even better, It was a flat screen tv. Or that’s what I thought.

Sitting back down, I looked at the big screen and it was only 10 seconds left. “Come on blues you can do it get this is your chance!!!” my dad and I were shouting. Sadly they lost. Although the blues didn’t win, we still had a ton of fun.
